Component Leak Detection Systems
The systems required to test the hermetic seal of integrated circuits and microelectronic devices consist of a pressurization unit and a leak detection system. Trio-Tech offers several different types of pressurization systems and leak detection systems for both fine and gross leak testing. These systems meet or exceed military test requirements.
G-400 Pressurization Unit
The G-400 is a Fine and Gross leak pressurization system that is compatible with both helium and fluorocarbons. This preconditioning system is designed to automatically pressurize test samples with helium or fluorocarbons.
Upon completion of the preconditioning phase, the test sample is placed inside a “bubble tester” for gross leak testing. When detecting fine leaks a helium mass spectrometer is used
G-254A Bubble Tester
The bubble tester is designed to meet the MIL-STD-883 requirements for gross leak testing. The G-254A bubble tester is a medium sized system providing a usable tray area of 5-7/8″ x 13-7/8″. Other standard models are available for smaller and larger capacity requirements
