CENTRIFUGE SYSTEMS

Trio-Tech offers a wide variety of centrifuge systems to cover many different centrifugal testing parameters. The primary purpose of the centrifuge is to apply an elevated centrifugal force to Unit Under Test (UUT) to determine if it will withstand a given G force without failure, operate satisfactorily at some G level to which the device may be subjected in actual use, to accomplish some unique function at a given G level and to test to destruction or failure. Our centrifuge products cover a range of 1 to 30,000 G's for testing small microelectronic devices to large 200 lb. Systems. No single centrifuge can cover all of the required parameters for centrifugal testing. Our standard centrifuge systems provided below cover most military, aerospace, automotive and geo-technical centrifugal applications.

1068-1 CENTRIFUGE (MEDIUM DUTY)

This centrifuge is a medium duty system designed to provide up to 100 G's of force with a nominal test radius of 21 inches. Standard options consist of additional slip rings, rotary joints, digital speed output, IEEE-488 computer interface, unbalance sensor and increased G range to 250G maximum.

1068-2 CENTRIFUGE (MEDIUM DUTY)

This medium duty centrifuge offers a maximum of 1000 G's at a test radius to 10.5 inches. A 24 inch aluminum turntable is used to mount the test devices instead of an arm assembly. Options include additional slip rings, rotary joints, digital speed readout, IEEE-488 computer interface and unbalance sensor.

1231 CENTRIFUGE (HEAVY DUTY)

This centrifuge system offers a maximum force of 200 G's with a 24 inch cube, 200 lb. test specimen capacity. A 42 inch nominal radius reduces the G gradient to a minimum across the test specimen while under test. The standard options consist of additional slip rings, rotary joints, positionable platforms, close circuit TV, digital speed readout, unbalance sensor and IEEE-488 computer interface.

1077 CENTRIFUGE (HIGH PRECISION)

This high precision centrifuge offers a stability of .02% with a maximum G range of 100G. This system is used to calibrate sensors with low drift requirements. Speed indication is measured from a 6000 PPR encoder to provide +/-.002% accuracy of readout over one revolution. Options include additional slip rings, rotary joints, unbalance sensor and IEEE-488 computer interface.
